Les Artisan sont le summum de la cymbale traditionnelle. Le martelage haute-densité entièrement réalisé à la main apporte cette complexité et cette chaleur typiques des vieilles cymbales turques tandis que la taille XXL des impacts augmente le volume. Ces cymbales d'un "ancien temps" sont riches, sombres et assez puissantes pour s'adapter à tous les styles.

Sabian was created in 1981 in Canada by Robert Zildjian. Robert had left the Zildjian company after a disagreement with his brother Armand, but their father Avedis Zildjian III had passed on his family secrets to his two sons. This sharing of manufacturing secrets explains the proximity of certain Sabian and Zildjian series, in particular the AA and HH series which were the first 2 series originally manufactured by Sabian. Currently the AA, AAX, HH and HHX series are the foundations of all Sabian series: SBR, B8X, XSR, FRX, FRX, HH, AA, HHX, AAX, Crescent, Paragon and Artisan
