La peau Remo VINTAGE A est la peau qui a changé le son de batterie pour toujours. C'est la réplique exacte de la première peau Ambassador créée en 1957 et rendue célèbre par Louie Bellson, Buddy Rich et Ringo Starr notamment. A l'époque il était impossible de fabriquer un film de 10 millième d'épaisseur de manière impeccable (ce qui est la cas maintenant pour l'Ambassador actuelle), REMO fabriqua donc cette première peau avec deux films (un de 7 et un de 3 millième d'épaisseur)
