3 Years Warranty

The French legal warranty is 2 years, but at My DrumShop we found that it was not enough! So we added a free year warranty so you can play your instruments with peace of mind.

How do I know if I have the 3 year warranty? It's very simple: the simple fact of having bought from us, covers for 3 years all your purchases for manufacturing defects that may occur.

When does the 3 year warranty begin? The warranty date begins on the date of delivery of your order (normal, because that's when you start using your products).

What is covered by the 3 year warranty? All that makes the product is not conform to the expected use and that has defects preventing its usual use not resulting from normal usage. So we can say that any product that breaks or no longer works and that is not in the cases below is covered by the warranty.
What is not covered:
• Products repaired or modified outside authorized service areas.
• normal wear of a product related to its use (chopsticks, skins, covers, scratches, splinters, stains ...)
• misuse or poor maintenance of a product (forced screw, rhodoïd in the sun, cat stuck in the bass drum, crack resulting from a fall ...)
• Cymbal cracks in the same direction as the radius.

The guarantee is parts and labor? Absolutely ! The warranty covers the products / replacement / repair parts as well as the time of the technician or logistician spent on your case.

Are there manufacturers with special conditions? There are only two cases where you have to register to receive premium support during these 3 years:

Do I need a return number? no, we are no longer in 70's with carbon paper! Now it's easier: just send us a message describing the problem with photos. We will contact you soon to check what to send back to us.

Who is responsible for sending the defective product? You are in charge of the return transport. You choose the carrier of your choice (we advise you your local postal carrier or UPS for large items over 30 kg). Once we have determined together the item to be returned, you will only have to pack it very well and send it to the address we have given you.

Who takes care of the return transport? This time it is we who take care of it (as well as all other costs that may arise, except for first shipping above). We will contact you to verify the shipping address and the day you will be available to receive your repaired / replaced product.

Is it a replacement or a repair? It depends on the type of defect or breakdown and what the manufacturer says. In general when it is broken we replace and when it is down we change the defective parts (it is faster and at least we are sure of the rest of the operation of the product).

How long does the repair / replacement of my defective product take? There are 3 things to consider: transport times, checks and repair time.
- Transportation: 2-3 days from your home to our warehouse, 2-3 days from us at the service center, 2-3 days from the service center at our warehouse and 2-3 days from us to your home; which is 8-12 days for total transports. (When possible, we will give you the address of the service center to win 2-3 days).
- Control: 1-2 days when he arrives from your home and 1-2 days when he comes back from the service.
- Repair about 4 to 8 days or replacement 2 days.
If you followed everything, it's about 12 to 24 days. But most of the time we are between 10 and 15 days (I could have said from the beginning, but it would have been less explicit).
