Les Controlled Sound (CS) Sablées sont des peaux fabriquées avec un simple-pli de 10 millième d'épaisseur sablé (type Ambassador), et un renfort rond de 5 millième d'épaisseur. Sur ce modèle, le renfort est TRANSPARENT et placé au centre de la face SUPERIEURE (dessus) de la peau.

Cette combinaison offre une sonorité controllée et précise, en éliminant les harmoniques indésirables. La surface extérieure produit une sonorité sensible plutot centrée sur les médiums, alors que le renfort ajoute précision tonale et une plus grande solidité, pour résister aux batteurs à la frappe appuyée.
