La Powerstroke 3 Sablée est composée d'un simple-pli sablé de 10 millième d'épaisseur (type Ambassador sablée), où figurent (sous le sablage) deux fins cercles noirs concentriques sur le dessus. Cette peau intègre aussi un anneau fin et transparent fixé sur le bord externe de la face inférieure (dessous) de la peau, qui filtre les harmoniques indésirables. Sur ce modèle, REMO à ajouté un renfort rond et transparent au centre de la face supérieure de la peau.

Cette conception permet de produire une sonorité parfaitement équilibrée, à l'attaque chaude, à la réponse linéaire et parfaite pour tous les types de jeux, où résonance et controle du son doivent aller de paire. Le renfort apporte plus de résistance et une précision tonale accrue.
