Less space, more sound, a lower price. The Catalina Club series truly represented something new for the Gretsch brand in its early days. For the first time, Gretsch drum kits were produced outside the United States and using mahogany. But the enormous success of these models vindicates the Gretsch team. The series combines traditional configurations and the classic Gretsch sound with stylish, modern hardware. The foundation consists of seven-ply shells with a 30° bearing edge, which, in combination with the factory-installed REMO® heads, gives each kit a warm and powerful vintage sound. The Catalina Club drums are available in three different configurations and a total of seven finishes.
