Cette coquille remplace n'importe laquelle de vos coquilles de tom, quelque soit la marque de votre batterie (l'entre-axe des vis est réglable de 25m à 43mm), afin d'y fixer directement le support de tom de votre choix en diamètre 12,7mm, ou bien n'importe quelle tige (perçu ou cymbale) du même diamètre.

Les avantages de cette coquilles d'un nouveau genre sont doubles :
