Between tradition and modernity

The HHX Anthology series is the culmination of the fundamental innovations of HHX cymbals, uniting traditional and contemporary sounds in a single cymbal. It combines AAX and HHX hammering to achieve the essence of AAX, a pure and bright sound, with the specific characteristics of HHX, which offer a thin cymbal and a darker sound.

Two types of sound

The Anthology series offers two series: Low and High. This allows you to select the type of sound you desire. A slightly higher pitch for the High series and a much higher and more pronounced bell.

This hi-hat, unlike the High Anthology, retains the raw bottom end, as on its Fierce hi-hat, to deliver a powerful, open sound and incredible chick.

Attention to detail
The rings of the Anthology logo are a visual representation of how this product unifies past, present, tradition, and Sabian research. The Anthology logo is curved and positioned at 10:00, giving it its own space without crowding the HHX space. This creates an interesting balance that makes this cymbal visually unique and sounding incredible.
The Anthology logo and HHX have lighter outlines, in gold ink, on the hammered portion. The hammered bronze creates a subtle tone-on-tone effect that gives the cymbal a sense of understated, minimalist luxury.
The Sabian logos, size, and weight are inscribed on the back of the cymbal.
